Dear Madam,

I feel you need not be under stress.

You had taken Ipill within a couple of hours after the unprotected sex. These pills are quite effective with very low failure rate. Hence, it is very unlikely that you would be pregnant due to this intercourse on 7th September.

Since these pills contain high dosage of hormones, there is a good chance that the menstruation pattern might get disturbed. The bleeding you had on 12th could be due to the changes in the hormonal levels.

I feel you should wait without any stress for you menses to appear. They may be delayed than the expected date. If by 12 October you do not get menses, you may get Beta hCG pregnancy test done to find out the pregnancy status.

There are medicines - Mifepristone and Misoprostol which can cause termination of pregnancy safely and effectively up to 9 weeks of pregnancy. However, they are not over the counter medicines and need an Obstetricians prescription and directions.

I hope this helps you.
